Cassette Playas debuted on February 28, 2020, with a gig at Guilt & Co. The band had an extremely positive reception from the beginning.

There’s something about 80’s music as it was one the most popular decades that brings back fond memories. The Prince & Michael Jackson battle for kings of pop supremacy. This decade also gave us David Bowie, George Michaels & the new jack swing sound from Teddy Riley groups, Guy & Black Street.

Covering all of the songs from the 80’s, for an authentic and fun 80’s night, the Cassette Playas consists of band members Karen Graves on Saxophone, Nino Depasquali on Drums, Roger Salloum on Keyboards, Anthony Anderson on Guitar, Victor Noreaiga on Keyboards, and Mike Henry lead vocals.
