Loverboy
For over 40 years, LOVERBOY has been rocking the world, starting in 1978 when Mike Reno and Paul Dean formed the band in Calgary. Despite early struggles, including being rejected by major U.S. record labels, they signed with Columbia Canada and released their self-titled debut album, which went on to sell millions worldwide. They became one of the top touring acts, playing with bands like Journey, Bob Seger, and Def Leppard, and scoring hits such as “Working for the Weekend,” “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” and “This Could Be the Night.”
Known for their high-energy live performances, the band has sold over 10 million albums and earned multiple platinum awards. LOVERBOY’s music continues to resonate with fans, transcending generations, with songs featured in commercials, TV shows, and movies. Despite lineup changes, including the loss of bassist Scott Smith, LOVERBOY remains a touring powerhouse, thrilling audiences worldwide with their legendary sound and enduring hits.
