Step into the vibrant atmosphere of brothels, jook joints, alleyways, and showrooms as Kahlil Ashanti (New York Times Critics Pick performer of Basic Training) presents his new solo show, inspired by the acclaimed book ‘Furious Cool: Richard Pryor and the World That Made Him’. This interactive journey invites audiences to meet the unforgettable characters who shaped the greatest comedian of our time.

With no costume changes or props, Ashanti delivers a raw and powerful exploration of Pryor’s life, revealing the contradictions, demons, and deep loves that defined him. More than just a performance, this show uncovers the heart and soul of a true legend.

Please note: This show is intended for mature audiences only—definitely not for kids. Don’t miss this chance to witness a unique homage to the genius of Richard Pryor.
