FAQs
How many different golf courses are there to choose from on the simulator?
There is an incredible selection of over 200 courses from around the world to choose from.
How long will it take to play an 18-hole round?
18-holes will take approximately an hour to complete (per person). For example, if you’re golfing as a foursome, we recommend you book a four-hour block. Keep in mind, it is the responsibility of each group to manage their pace of play accordingly. **NOTE – We recommend participants arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their reservation. We also encourage groups to finish on time and be respectful of others.
How early should we arrive for my booking?
We recommend that participants arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their reservation. This will allow us time to process payments, as well as deliver a brief overview of the simulator.
What happens if time runs out before we finish our round?
Each group must manage their own pace of play. If your time has expired and no one is booked in the bay after you, you may choose to extend your play. Extensions are available in 30-minute increments. However, if your allotted time is up and another group is booked behind you, you must exit the simulator on time.
Do I bring my own balls? Should I wear golf shoes? Clean Shoes?
We supply all the balls, and they tee up automatically. No chasing balls means more time for golf! Golf shoes are not necessary but feel free to wear them if you choose. The most important thing is the footwear is clean!
Do people bring their own clubs? Do you have clubs available for rent?
We have several sets of clubs on hand to use. Since people can share clubs, it’s not necessary that everyone have their own. There are both left and right-handed sets available. Guests are more than welcome to bring their own clubs, but the golf bag is subject to the casino’s security policies. Currently, there is no rental fee for the use of in-house clubs.
Can I track my Play?
One of the most popular features associated with our golf simulators is the use of the Golfzon app. By using the app (free to download-Search Golfzon Global) you can track and manage your rounds and score. Log in and analyze your swing or participate in one of many tournaments held worldwide. Our advice is the app is a must have.
What if I don’t have a mobile device, or don’t want the app?
No problem! Anyone can log into the simulator as a guest and enjoy their round of golf.
What is the cost?
Our hourly rate is $35/hour, plus HST. Please note that if paying by credit card, there will be an additional 2% fee. Simulators are booked by the hour, not by the number of people. If an additional 30 minutes is required, and we are able to accommodate the extension, the rate will be $17.50.
Are the rates per hour or per person?
The rates you pay while using a golf simulator are based on time and not people. Our simulators allow for as many as six individual golfers per bay, and the simulator rate may be split between members of your group if you like.
What about food and drink?
Most definitely! Beverage service is available during regular business hours. A full menu is available from the Celtic Junction Bar & Grille.
We ask that all guests be respectful of our Responsible Beverage Policy.
What is your responsible beverage policy?
- Guests must be 19 years of age or older to access the casino and the golf simulators.
- Anyone appearing to be under the age of 30 will be required to provide valid government picture identification to receive alcoholic beverages.
- Guests shall be permitted to purchase or possess a maximum of two (2) alcoholic beverages, or one (1) double alcoholic beverages at a time.
- Guests shall only be permitted to purchase one (1) pitcher of draught or one (1) bottle of wine, provided there is more than one (1) person at the table.
- Bottles of wine and pitchers of draught ARE NOT permitted on the gaming floor.
- Servers are not permitted to wait for a guest to consume a drink for the purpose of reordering.
- Guests appearing to be under the influence of alcohol will not be able to obtain alcohol service and will be asked to leave the premises.
- As per Section 61, subsection 2, of the Liquor Regulations, a person who is or appears to be intoxicated is not permitted to be in licensed premises. Additionally, per Section 20(1)(b) of the Casino Regulations, individuals who appear to be intoxicated are not permitted to play games of chance. Patrons who are or appear to be intoxicated will be removed from the premises.
Can I read the formal booking policy?
- We have two simulators available. They are Bay 1 and Bay 2.
- Cost per hour, per bay, is $35 plus HST. (An additional 2% fee if paying by Visa or Mastercard.)
- The simulator bay rates are based on time (per hour) and not the number of people. The simulator rate can be split between the people in your group. Our regular Bays comfortably accommodate a group of a maximum of 6.
- The minimum booking is one hour. However, if your booked time is over and there is no one booked in the bay after you, you can extend your time by increments of 30 minutes or more. On startup for new users, it will take a few minutes for our staff to complete Simulator usage instruction.
- On average 18-holes will take approximately an hour to complete per person. For a foursome, we recommend you book 4 hours for 18 holes, 2 hours for 9 holes, etc.
- Golfers need to be aware that start times may be delayed up to 15 minutes to accommodate the previous group’s finish.
