New Years Eve with Matt Minglewood!
Kick off New Year’s Eve with one of the East Coast’s most enduring musical voices as Matt Minglewood returns to Casino Nova Scotia Halifax for a special celebration, including an early salute to his milestone 80th birthday.
Raised in Cape Breton, Matt Minglewood has spent more than five decades blending rock, blues and country into a sound rooted in the Maritimes. His catalogue includes fan favourites such as “Me and the Boys,” “East Coast Blues,” “Stood Up” and “Rockin’ the Blues,” while his career has earned him three gold records, multiple East Coast Music Awards and the ECMA Lifetime Achievement Award.
Minglewood was inducted into the Nova Scotia Music Hall of Fame and, in 2026, was appointed to the Order of Nova Scotia in recognition of his contributions to music, culture and community.
