Weekend Poker Tournaments
Test your luck, skill, and strategy at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto in high-stakes competition. All tournaments start at 11 AM.
October Schedule:
- Saturday, October 10, 2026 – $400 Turbo NLH
- Sunday, October 11, 2026 – $600 Deepstack NLH
Due to the ongoing labour disruption, some entrances may be blocked and traffic delays may occur. We recommend allowing additional travel time to ensure you arrive before your poker tournament start time.
Registration Details:
- Registration takes place starting 24 hours before each tournament, with up to 100 tickets available for tournaments with a buy-in under $500 and 90 tickets for tournaments with a buy-in over $500. Registration will remain open on the tournament date until the beginning of level 13.
- You must register for all tournaments in person and pay in cash, and all participants must have a Great Canadian Rewards card to register. Valid government identification is required. Not a member? Join for free today. Sign up online or visit Guest Services.
- The alternate list will begin at 10:00 am on the day of the tournament on a first-come, first-served basis for any player who does not have a seat with chips in play. Pre-registered players must be eliminated before you can be placed on the alternate list. Players will receive a full stack at the time of tournament entry and may opt for a dealer add-on.
- Players may re-enter an unlimited number of times as long as seating is available and registration remains open. Re-entry costs the same as the buy-in.
Tournament Details:
- Players will receive 20,000 in tournament chips for traditional tournaments and 30,000 in tournament chips for Deep Stack tournaments. At registration, players can buy a dealer add-on for $10, which adds 5,000 in chips to their starting stack.
- Tournaments with a buy-in of less than $500 will be 10-handed, and tournaments with a buy-in greater than $500 will be 9-handed. The final table will begin when 10 players remain for all tournaments.
- All tournaments will be re-entry events.

Out-of-province and guests under the age of 30 must also have a secondary form of government-issued photo ID ready to present upon request. Health Cards will not be accepted as a valid form of ID. Tickets are non-transferable. A full refund will only be issued for requests made at least 24 hours prior to the event start time and are no longer permitted after this time.
