For the safety of our guests and staff, you will be denied entry or asked to leave the premises if you:
- are under the age of 19 years old*;
- fail to present acceptable government-issued photo ID for entry*;”
- are participating in a provincial voluntary self-exclusion program, provincially prohibited, or has been banned from our Great Canadian properties or due to a condition of a court order;
- are intoxicated or impaired by alcohol, drugs or an illicit substance;
- are in possession of an outside alcoholic beverage, an illicit substance or a weapon;
- fail to allow security inspection of all bags, parcels, containers and cases;
- are wearing clothing or accessories with gang-related branding/emblems, obscene graphics or profane language;
- damage or destroy company property;
- refuse to participate in mandatory health and safety measures established by GCE or public health authorities from time to time; or
- for other reasonable causes as deemed appropriate by management or security.
* We ID under 30. Everyone is required to present acceptable government-issued photo ID in its original physical form, including a secondary piece of identification, that may be requested, upon entry or during your visit. Pictures or photocopies will not be accepted. If asked to present ID, the initial piece of identification must be valid, government-issued and include a photo of the person and the birth date. The secondary piece of identification, if requested, must at a minimum, include the persons full name that matches the government-issued photo identification.
If in Ontario, in addition to the above, the following rules apply to all Casino Games, conducted and managed by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG”), at Great Canadian Entertainment (“GCE”):
- Officers, members of the board of directors or any individual who is required to be registered as a gaming assistant at any GCE properties;
- Team members of registered suppliers who maintain or repair gaming equipment at the property(s);
- Executive or team members of a trade union who represent or negotiate on behalf of GCE;
- Members of the board of directors or team members of Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario;
- Officers or members of the board of directors of OLG;
- OLG team members registered as Category 1 Gaming Assistant.
Guest Experience
We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and memorable experience for all of our guests.
We ask that you respect the right of others to enjoy their entertainment experience, and that you behave appropriately at all times.
Unacceptable conduct will result in your removal and/or ban from the property and all affiliated properties. Such conduct includes—and is not limited to—any of the following:
- Use of foul, threatening, or abusive language or gestures;
- Fighting;
- Threatening or offensive conduct towards others;
- Consumption, smoking or vaping of cannabis on GCE property; and
- Smoking or vaping on property outside of designated areas.
Violence – not part of the game! Violence is not tolerated at our property.
“Violence” is the attempted or actual exercise of any physical force that causes or could cause injury, including any threatening statement or behaviour which gives a person reasonable cause to believe that they are at risk of injury.

Metal Detectors
Your safety and security are our top priorities. Great Canadian Entertainment has installed metal detectors at the public entrances to our gaming floors and theatres at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and Pickering Casino Resort. The installation of metal detectors is a proactive measure to create a secure and welcoming environment for all guests and team members.
