History of R&B starring Dru Hill brings together decades of R&B favourites in a show celebrating the music that helped shape generations, from Motown to the millennium.
Formed in Baltimore, Dru Hill became one of the defining R&B groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s with a catalogue that includes “Tell Me,” “In My Bed,” “Never Make a Promise,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” “These Are the Times,” “Beauty” and “I Should Be.”
The group also launched the solo career of Sisqó, whose hits “Thong Song” and “Incomplete” became major releases of the era. Alongside Nokio, Jazz, Smoke, Black and Scola, Dru Hill continues to bring its signature vocals and unmistakable sound to audiences across North America.
History of R&B celebrates the songs, artists and eras that helped define R&B, with Dru Hill at the centre of the night.
