Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel
Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel remains open and is operating as usual.
The hotel and casino are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Water’s Edge Restaurant is operating as usual, with The Buffet available:
- Fridays and Saturdays: 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sundays: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM
All property entrances remain open and fully accessible.
Casino Ajax
Casino Ajax remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Getaway Restaurant is temporarily operating from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a reduced menu.
Vehicle access to Casino Ajax has now resumed. Please note that vehicles are being permitted through the picket line at a rate of approximately one vehicle per minute, which may result in minor delays when entering. Complimentary parking is available in the outdoor lot. Security personnel will be on site to assist and help guide guests as needed.

The hotel, casino, and restaurants are operating as usual. However, access to some property entrances may be temporarily affected during the current labour disruption.
Parking and transportation
Complimentary parking remains available in our multi-level parking garage. Before arriving, please review our resort entrance map for the latest information about available entrances.
The Casino Shuttle at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is now operating seven days a week, with an expanded schedule until further notice.
The expanded service is designed to make getting to and from the property easier and help minimize potential delays during your visit. Reservations are mandatory and open 48 hours before departure and close at 8:00 PM the night before your visit. Book your next ride at greatcanadian.com/book.
Pickering Casino Resort
Pickering Casino Resort remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Some amenities and services are operating with modified hours or are temporarily unavailable during the current labour disruption.
Modified hours
- Rock House: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Zio’s: Open Friday–Saturday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- M Cha Bar: Closed Mondays. Open Tuesday–Friday from 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and Saturday–Sunday from 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
- Table Games:
- Wednesday to Saturdays: Baccarat is available 24 hours a day, while Blackjack and Roulette are available from 12:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
- Sundays to Tuesdays: All Table Games are available from 12 PM to 4 AM.

The Casino Shuttle service has resumed, operating Saturday through Tuesday, with the casino arrival and departure stop temporarily relocated to Church Street, approximately 200 metres—or a short 2–4 minute walk—from the casino entrance.
