Mike Epps

Mike Epps is creating a major buzz in the entertainment world, showcasing his versatility in both comedy and drama. He stars in and produces the Netflix comedy “The Upshaws,” which has earned seven NAACP Image Award nominations, with Mike winning “Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series.” He also appears in Amazon Prime’s “I am a Virgo,” which premiered at SXSW and earned nominations for an Independent Spirit Award and a Gotham Award. His seventh stand-up special, “Ready to Sell Out,” premiered on Netflix, receiving high praise from the New York Times.

Epps is also making waves on the big screen, starring in Amazon MGM’s comedy The Underdoggs alongside Snoop Dogg, and featuring in HBO Max’s Winning Time and Netflix’s Snoop Dogg’s Fcn Around*. Outside of acting, Mike and his wife Kyra are giving back through their HGTV special Buying Back the Block, revitalizing his childhood neighborhood in Indianapolis. Over the years, Epps has built a remarkable career, starring in critically acclaimed films like Dolemite is My Name and The Last Black Man in San Francisco, and appearing in hit franchises such as Next Friday and The Hangover.
